White Wines

Fontana Candida Pinot Grigio – Italy $10 glass / $35 bottle
Pale straw in color. Exotic fruit, wildflowers and a hint of honey aromas. On the palate, the wine is dry and
balanced with hints of apples and bananas on the finish.

Infamous Goose Sauvignon Blanc – New Zealand $12 glass / $40 bottle
Pale straw in color. Exotic fruit, wildflowers and a hint of honey aromas. On the palate, the wine is dry and
balanced with hints of apples and bananas on the finish.

Hahn Chardonnay – California $10 glass / $35 bottle
Lively aromas of lemon citrus, pineapple and orange blossom with hints of tropical fruit, caramelized
honey and toasty vanilla. On the palate, this wine has an refined texture with a silky, smooth mouthfeel
and medium acidity. Flavors of Meyer lemon, golden apple and fresh cut pear, combined with delicate
notes of toasty oak and creamy minerality, lead to an elegant long finish.

Shades of Blue Riesling – Germany $9 glass / $32 bottle
With fragrant aromas of tropical and stone fruits, this semi-dry Riesling balances ripe fruit notes with a crisp
citrus finish.

Red Wines

Bolla Pinot Noir – Italy $8 glass / $30 bottle
Bright ruby red in color. Hints of black cherry and blackberry on the nose. The wine is soft and fruit-
forward, with black-fruit and a bright and fresh finish. Meant to be enjoyed young.

Babylonstoren SMV Red Blend – South Africa $8 glass / $30 bottle
Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot
This old vine Bordeaux blend shows a pleasant gravelly minerality, voluptuous leather and tannins from 18
months in oak, and notes of ripe plum, black currant, cinnamon. Truly a wine that embodies hospitality
and abundance!

Alta Vista Estate Cabernet Sauvignon – Argentina $8 glass / $30 bottle
Shows intense, complex black fruit aromas with fresh herb notes. In the mouth, this structured wine has
broad, black fruit flavors and rich tannins that blend elegantly with notes of oak.

Copain Pinot Noir – Sonoma Coast California $45 bottle
The 2017 Tous Ensemble Pinot Noir is our second offering from the Sonoma Coast appellation. Taking
what we learned the previous year and isolating our favorite blocks in the vineyard, we were able to take
the wine to the next level of quality. The goal for this blend is a wine that is true to the Copain style of
being an elegant expression of Pinot Noir, yet a bit more friendly to drink upon release. On the nose are
screaming aromatics: hints of pomegranate and anise, and, as the wine opens up, strawberry and black tea
emerge. This wine is plush on the entry, but given tension by its fine grain tannin and nervy acid.

Sparkling
LaMarca Prosecco – Italy $11
A crisp, dry Italian sparkling wine with notes of lemon zest and lime.

Highly recommend!

Pulled pork was delicious, great choice of sauces, available as well. Owner was very hospitable, and he supports our veterans! Actually has a sign on the wall for veterans to sign so people can acknowledge them and their service.

Enjoyed the live music, local beer, great barbecue

We found The Mountain Boomer by accident, while sight seeing during the rainstorms this past Sunday evening. What a great find! We really enjoyed the live music, local beer, great barbecue, sausage-stuffed portobello, and BLT club sandwiches. The potato salad is also great… like really great! This place is simple and simply fantastic. Dean, the owner, was super helpful with menu choices and with accommodating our questions and our family of six. It’s a short drive from Grandfather Mountain and from the Blue Ridge Parkway, so we’ll be back!

everything is fresh, and the pulled pork is very flavorful

Very impressed with the quality of the food. You can tell everything is fresh, and the pulled pork is very flavorful without being greasy. The desserts are amazing as well.
